Innovative Smart Living is \"sustainable\" in many ways!<\/p>

Not only energy and water, but also food production are in closed systems. Nothing is lost, everything serves a purpose. Buildings are like living organisms: there is a constant exchange of energy and materials between a dwelling and its surroundings.<\/p>

The United Nations has drawn up 17 goals at the economic, social and ecological level to ensure sustainable development worldwide. These \"Sustainable Development Goals\" (SDGs) came into force on 01.06.2016 with a term of 15 years. The \"Innovative Smart Living\" concept addresses 11 of these 17 sustainability goals alone.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The project, which was significantly developed in cooperation between research, industry and SME partners from Germany and Namibia, focuses on southern Africa with Namibia, South Africa and Botswana.<\/p>

Both the AU (African Union), with the Agenda 2030, and the Federal Republic of Germany, with the 2017 Marshall Plan, provide guidance. With the INNOVATIVE SMART LIVING project, we are tackling the practical implementation of these guidelines.
